Our Story
The Beginning
Home Thereby started in a tiny apartment with nothing more than a few potted herbs on a windowsill and a dream of “someday.” Someday we’d have a backyard. Someday we’d grow our own vegetables. Someday we’d have chickens (yes, really). Someday our home would feel like ours—not just a place we lived, but a place we loved.
That someday became today, one small project at a time.
The Journey
What began as a simple desire to make our space more beautiful slowly evolved into something much bigger. We started with paint swatches and Pinterest boards. Then came the first tomato plant (which we somehow kept alive). A small herb garden followed. Then raised beds. Before we knew it, we were sketching chicken coop designs on napkins and researching composting systems.
Each project taught us something new—not just about DIY or gardening, but about what it means to create a life that feels intentional, connected, and deeply satisfying.
We learned that you don’t need acres of land to grow food. You don’t need a big budget to create beautiful spaces. And you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing from day one (trust us on this—we’ve made all the mistakes).
